I have posted comments regarding the hysteria surrounding 2012 and personally believe that such devastating effects will not happen, it is true that the predictions offered by the Mayans, sumerians and Nostradamus are vague and cannot be relied upon as conclusive proof that we are facing the end of days, it may be true that some kind of astrological event will take place but will only affect the outer galaxies, it is true that magnetism and gravitational pull could affect earth but this would only be minimal, the earth rotates on an axis which is propelled by magnetic forces around it, only when this force becomes so great will affect what happens directly on earth, the supposed alignment with the galaxy is at best 1million years away and so this apocalyptic belief that we are all doomed in 2012 is unfounded, the Mayan calender ends at the equinox each year and calculations only went as far as 2012 via a simple arithmatical sum, it is noted that the stars shifted one degree in 72yrs, multiply this by 360 and you get 26,000, this the number of years from 2012 which they percieve to be the time of end of days, this is purely incidental and has no affect or pointer towards the end of the world as we know it, these things happen in cycles and the next supposed cataclysmic cycle is not for another million years at least, all the propaganda surrounding the prophecies, earthquakes, tsunami's, floods, volcanic activity and other man made disasters all add to the hysteria and can only be viewed as natural occurencies in relation to changes in the earth's activity and are common in relation to the age of the earth and do not necessarily point to prophetic doom as many believe.
yes 2012 is a lie. It is just another fake stuffs on the internet.
