The icebergs are melting 10 times faster and the temperature is increasing than before. The 2012 predictions posted here told us that something similar would start in 2010. Things are changing sooner and now it seems that those predictions about 2012 are turning out true one by one. Read below..

When sun comes, when summer comes, ice always melt faster (more than 10x times). Antarctic melts and freezes and its not a sign of 2012.
2012 is real people....the ice is melting the weather that we are experincing is nothing we ever saw before.....there is no escaping the weather and all the natural disasters the we are living thru....so just embrace the time we have left with our families and appreciate the important stuff like enjoying the sunlight cos it wont last forever and neither will you
Wish people would learn to do their own research so they won't be postng ignorant statements here. Neither of the above posters are exactly correct in their 'assumptions'.
1) The ice 'is' melting at a record pace and has been a few quite a few years now. This May not be a sign of 2012, but then again it could be? Depending on how you look at it. 2012 represents only that this current age is at an end and that a new one is about to begin. This of course will not happen without some 'earth changing' events.
Reesearch the following:
1) An increase of Volcanic activity
2) An increase in earthquake activity
3) Change in weather paterns
4) More wild fires - more and more acres are burning each year.
5) An increase in storms as well as an increase of their intensity
6) Tornadoes, Hurricanes are increasing in frequency.
7) Flooding is increasing
Do the research and look at the charts.
Yes, the earth 'is' going through a change, but it is not, nor will it be the end of the world.
When I was growing up weather was as unpredictable as it is now. Ask some of the older generations and they will tell you about drought, floods, fire, etc. It happened back then and will keep happening now. We put more into our earth like bigger buildings and such and expect earth not to growl. Grazing bushland kept the fire danger down, but you're not allowed to do that now, too many do gooders. I believe we need to look after out earth but be real about it.
